1 (1)Spurs (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/sa/san-antonio-spurs) 45-9The Spurs ain't messin' around, even with that big lead over the rest of the West. How do we know? Pop responded to that one wack night in Philly with the first change to the starting lineup he's made all season. :hat

Same lineup as always for the Philly game.

Against Washington, Pop started Hill and brought Manu off the bench. Although some reports indicate that it was just in order to save Manu's legs, which ended up not really being needed anyways.

Will be interesting to see what happens tonight.

Manu needs to come off the bench anyway. Keeps from having to re-enter him at the end of the 1st and 4th quarter as Pop likes to do.

It says a lot about George Hill, how far he's come in such a short while. He should be the MIP of the year. His contributions are a big part of this team's successes this year.

Hill has been great, but he's nowhere near the MIP. Maybe on the Spurs, but the entire NBA? Come on.

Thank you! yeah that is what I was meaning to say. I only caught the second half of the washington game. I like manu coming off the bench and ending the game. We'll see what pop does tonight.

You think that's bad? Hollinger's scheme moved the cHeat UP to #2 after they lost to Boston, and their rating improved from 106.388 to 106.637. :lol

Consistently the Spurs not in the photo! Things never change and by the way all the Spurs have to do is avoid the Mavs in the 2nd round as I strongly believe it will be a Texas final and Mavs Spurs rematch in the WCF this year = Mavs fully capable of taking out the Lakers.

That normally happens when a bad loss comes out of the last 25%. It gets substituted by a "better" loss. Sort of the same thing with wins, sometimes a team wins and their rating and rank drops because a better win came out.

That is one of the few things Hollinger should tweak, assigning a lower value to those earlier games instead of dropping them drastically overnight.
