Need some help

I ran across some old cassettes that I listened to when I was younger. I was wondering if there's a device that I can use to record those songs onto my computer and turn them into an mpg file to put on my MP3 player. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

But what if they're really awesome mix tapes that he made? Making a mix tape was an art because not only did you have to get the order of the song right, but you had to make sure the length was right so you don't run out of space.

Sorry, but giving the "download from YouTube" option does not capture the mixtape experience. Especially if the songs were recorded off the radio.

They're not mixtapes, just some old music of non-mainstream musicians that my dad bought. We would listen to them in the car, and I haven't heard them in a LONG time. They're not on itunes or the Zune Marketplace, so I wanted to find something that I could record them onto my computer so I can hear them again. I don't even own a tape player any more. :lol
