He just didn't feel like dropping 30 on the Spurs. He can do it whenever he wants, I guess tonight he was in the mood for 8.

Obviously pacing himself. This shouldn't even be a poll. I know it's a joke, but it's obvious he is waiting to make an epic playoff push post-ASG. That's how legacies are born.

Actually, choice #5 should read "Too tired from his futile attempts to stop Manu". :D

Pacing himself:

It was obviously more beneficial to his team for him not to score 30+ because of all the other players putting up such huge numbers. It's a team game, and he's only going to score big when his team needs him to. New Jersey has too much talent for him to need to do this on a nightly basis.

Regular season Sasha doesn't put forth the effort.

He was constantly double-teamed. Spurs did a great job of trapping him and he had not choice but to pass it around.

we should just consider ourselves lucky that the Machine took pity on our team.

He is pacing himself. He still thinks he is coasting with the Lakers.

You drop 30 against the best team in the league and contenders start taking notice. Phones start ringing, offers get made, deals get done. Sasha loves the Garden State far, far too much to do something to make other teams take him away from it.

Spurs knew he could put up 30 whenever he wants. You gotta take a threat like that seriously.

It was a tribute to early Kobe.

He's simply tired of trying to stop Manu. Been there, done that.

I remember a few years ago, how the Lakers (their fans, that is) were claiming this guy was Manu 2.0, the Machine, the Manu Stopper... :D

It would be selfish of him to drop 30, and he's just not that type of guy. He's a team player!

Because the Machine wasn't at full strength.

Because he was....spurs fans thrilled that he is no longer with the Lakers, tbh.
