Hopefully someone here will know what this is called or what's up. Let me start by saying it is a legit copy and I bought it off of steam.

Bascially the issue is that when in the game, if the mouse cursor is in the middle of the screen, it will only select something that is up and to the left of the cursor. In order to select something I have to drop the mouse below menu and to the right in order to select it. The problem is I can't choose any of the menus on the right hand side of the screen, or on the bottom of the screen.

Does anyone know how to fix this or at least know what this is called?

Have you changed the font size in windows or played with the of your monitor at all?

Damn, I know what youre talking about as it happens to me in another game that I cant remember.

Try changing the resolution in game. You may have the game in a non-native resolution to your monitor.

Seriously, try it. Start at 1024x768, see if it still happens. If the issue is miraculously gone, you now know its an in-game resolution setting issue (so no need to think its some other culprit). Work your way up through the native resolutions until the problem pops up again.

You might notice that your setting is a 16:10 ratio when your monitor is 16:9.

I figured out it was my DivX. I went to settings.ini under the bfbc2 file and switched the divx from auto to 9. Apparently this is an issue with windows 7 64 bit.

I did change the font and all that on my screen as well. There has been some screen jumping since I did that which is a bit annoying but it doesn't happen during gaming which is nice. For some reason my initial screen didn't full the monitor at all so I adjusted it. I then had some blurring so I fiddled with the font size hoping it would fix it which it didn't so maybe that's what affected it. Either way it's working now.

I run Windows 64 bit and I haven't had any problems with BC2. What vid card do you have?

I'll get around to it eventually.

In a nutshell it has 16 gigs of ram, AMD Quad 3.4, 60 gb SSD, 640 tb HD, and I went with the HAF 942. I figure with the HAF 942 I would have no problem upgrading the shit out of it if I wanted lol. Oh and I have some sort of MSI motherboard, can't remember which one but it has 8 SATA one PCI with like 6 PCI express and allows for 2 Videocards. I haven't fully upgraded the fans yet but I will after I polish off all the little things first. I bought a23" Asus monitor which is just way too big lol. I have to puch it back just to see everything if I'm doing a FPS. Makes long range vision great though.

Typically your mobo is what is going to restrict you from upgrading these days. Any modern case (mid-tower or better) is going to have a huge amount of room inside.

Ya I know about the mobo but I figured with how large video cdards and such are getting nowadays it would be best to maximize my space as well as air flow now... plus it just looks like it's bad ass lol.
