The Los Angeles Lakers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/lal/) are clearly at a low point (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Behind-the-Box-Score-where-the-Lakers-are-flumm;_ylt=ArsUkcfhSwkuJGxsU8j_rIS8vLYF?urn=nba-321670), though it is a relative low point compared to their usual brilliance, as they look to finish up the team's Grammy-influenced seven-game road trip with a fifth win in Cleveland on Wednesday. And though Phil Jackson was in no mood to talk to the media (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap;_ylt=AqT80oYrh64_lrayzpFdM928vLYF?gid=201102 1430) following what he termed an "embarrassing" loss to the Charlotte Bobcats (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/cha/) on Monday, Ron Artest (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3339/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3339/news) was his usual Artest-ian self following his 4 for 11 performance.

From KCAL 9 (http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/category/sports/):
Yes, that's Ron spraying Lakers reporter John Ireland (http://twitter.com/#%21/laireland) with Lamar Odom's (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3327/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3327/news) and Khloe Kardashian's "Unbreakable" fragrance (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Video-Lamar-Odom-and-Khloe-Kardashian-have-a-un?urn=nba-317700) after the loss.
And calling Charlotte Bobcats center Nazr Mohammed (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3272/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3272/news) "37 or 36" years old, when he's actually 33? Or pointing out that Bobcats big Kwame Brown (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3511/)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3511/news) "never hit a jumper when he was with the Lakers?"
That's just Ron on a Monday. Smellin' sweet, tellin' it like it is.

They might be able to right the ship if they beat the Cavs tonight.

The Lakers aren't in any trouble. They could lose a few more and be fine. Who poses a threat to them in the playoffs besides the Spurs and Mavericks, and maybe the Thunder or Portland? Maybe two other teams, that's about it.
