I misplaced my phone for a min so I assume some one stole my phone. Then some one posted it for sale on craigslist and some one purchased it. I know this cause the person who purchased it contacted me (i guess my old email was on there)asking to not report it stolen so he/she could use it.

This happen in the span of 4 days I called sprint to disconnect hopefully a good person would return my phone. Guess not.

what should be my next plan of action?

ha well yeah I plan to. Anyway I can track a phone number..I really want to investigate. Anyway I can hold the person who stole it reliable? Dude could be lying and say he bought it and just wants to use it.

oi sourcandy 8:::::o

what phone was it? iphone?

if its a iphone, call up the place where you bought it or the mobile carrier ur with and tell them....do you still have the box packaging, there should be a IMEI number on it :D, give them that number and the iphone4 becomes a ipod instead, cant make calls and cant even register cause the imei number is blocked from all registration in america cause u reported it stolen. unless they sell it overseas...

You should file a police report also... the phone shows up in a murder and you'll be getting much less pleasant calls...

Wouldn't be surprised if the thief and the person that called you know each other or are the same person. Call the cops. F' that person. They bought stolen merchandise. Probably, knowingly.

I hope there's no scandalous photos on your phone, that would be terrible if a hacker got into your protected files. :(

Trace that email, sue them for harassment!

Offer him fellatio for the safe return of your cellular device.

Might work if you're good at that sort of thing.

The amount of dumb being described in this situation is funny and disturbing at the same time.
