feel free to add

hopefully this will help save some of you/us from some of the crap I/we sat through.

The American - absolute crap. sucked bad. I want that 2 hours of life back. :td :td :td

Despicable Me - good kiddy flick. original and pretty funny. easily better than megamind. :tu :tu :tu

Salt - Some nice action in places, but a horrible script. Jolie passing herself as a man was lol unbelievable. :td

Red - I liked it but was bored at the same time. Can't explain it. Mary Louise Parker was also not easy on the eyes. :tu

Dinner for Shmucks - just a huge piece of crap that was never funny or clever. another 2 hours of lost time. :td :td :td :td

Easy A - Had no idea what it was about when I watched it. I could see how teeners and 20 something year old chicks would like this one but it was a waste of my time. :td

The Other Guys - So many great scenes, but was ultimately crap because they couldn't put it all together for a full movie. too bad. :td

The A-Team - so bad, so confusing, such horrible special effects, lame acting, but still so good. I hope there's a sequel. :tu :tu

Finally got around to checking out Repo Men on HBO. :td :td :td Didn't even make it through the whole thing.

I disagree with Blake on Other Guys, :tu :tu, but that might just be a function of me not really expecting a whole movie if Will Ferrell's involved. If you're watching a Ferrell movie, you're watching for bits.

My favorite part was with Samuel L Jackson and the Rock.

The problem with Dinner for Shmucks was that they couldn't decide between light comedy and dark comedy so, it just wound up middling in between and not going anywhere. I think they should have gone darker. There was a lot of wasted potential there.

I agree about the plot of The Other Guys not going anywhere, but I also thought it was pretty damn funny. That whole bit about Eva Mendes inexplicably being Will Farrell's wife was hilarious.

I just never could get into The A-Team. It meandered too much. I didn't care about the characters. Not good for me.

:lol I also liked Will Ferrell's job in college.

I may flip the thumb up on it after all. :tu

Didnt like BA, didnt like Murdock much, but I liked Hannibal enough and thought Face's character was dead on what that character should be.

I thought The Other Guys was pretty damn funny too. I thought Marky Mark and Farrell made a good duo actually.

I like the Other Guys quite a bit and I also really really really liked Red.

In fact I'm not sure how anyone can't like Red. It was so ridiculous it made me think it was the white version of Desperado.

I actually thought Markey Mark RUINED The Other Guys (:td :td). He's simply not a good comedic actor, nor a good "straight man" to Will's ridiculousness. Mark's only funny unintentionally, like in The Happening for Boogie Knights (though, that may've been on purpose...I just couldn't really enjoy that movie 'cause of him).

Watched Zombieland for the first time the other night. It was funny overall, but they could have come up with more creative ways to kill the zombies. The Bill Murray cameo was a nice touch.

Also saw The Town. Very meh IMO. The heist scenes were well done but the rest of it was pretty blah. Freaking Affleck movie. Should have known better.

I'm in the middle of Kind of a Funny Story. I cant tell if its going to suck or be good.

The American which blew

The Descent 2 which blew, could've been really good

The Orphan which was good

Faster with The Rock was surprisingly VERY entertaining.

How dare you give Leon a 6.5! :lol

If you guys dig Jean Reno, check out 22 bullets. It's basically The Professional but 20 years later. It was alright.

I have yet to see this. To tell the truth, The Descent didn't even need those Gollum monsters to be scary. They didn't ruin the movie, but it could have been better without the creatures.

I really enjoyed RED... John Malkovich was hilarious... HATED buried. what a depressing movie.
