I know everyone knows this. Rose never wanted Lebron in the Bulls and asked Joe Johnson instead.

But it will be interesting to see how they play together in the East Allstar Game. Looks like quite a rivarly is going on and who will lead the East team? Rose or Lebron?

Some interesting background:
- Wojanowski:
Rose didn't want LeBron taking the ball out of his hands, nor respect out of the room. Eventually, Rose reached out, but only out of a sense of duty. Rose didn't want James, nor did Rose particularly want Wade to make a Chicago homecoming. During early July, Rose shut himself in the gym and worked on his game. The soap opera bored him.

"If they wanted to come here, they would've come here," Rose told Yahoo! Sports Saturday night.

- Rose and Noah are homeboys. Noah dislikes Lebron and his childlish antics:

- Rose's final text to Lebron: "I can take you or leave you"

IMO Lebron can do his thing but let the best player in the world conduct the game for the East Allstars.

Rose is amazing, but for someone who has been shopped as quiet and humble, seems like he has quite the ego. LeBron could have only helped the Bulls. But Rose didn't want him to take the spotlight off of him. That's the type of thing people crucify other players for. I think Rose is stupid for not wanting LeBron and/or Wade. To his credit though, he's been playing to prove he doesn't need them.

disagree.

Rose just did not want to involve himself in the drama and also did not want to be on Lebron's cock like everyone else. I respect that.

Had Lebron chosen Chicago I beleive Rose would have accepted that and they would have a monster team.

Remember, Lebron did not go to Chicago by his own choice.

and he is humble, yesterday he played like a superstar and not once did he do any jestures or dances. True pro

I think it's obvious Lebron is a little bit of an attention whore. He loved the attention prior, during and after the decision.

The fact that Rose did not beg for him I think turned Lebron off.

I am also interested in watching the allstar game. I think Lebron will try to take over the game in order to get MVP but Rose has been so hot lately, I'm not sure who will shine brighter.

If Kobe is on the floor for the West, the East would be led by Ramon Sessions or Anthony Parker
