1. we missed like 10 point blank layups that just didnt drop. tony had at least 4-5 floaters rim out that usually go in. those are shot we will make most of the time, which would have had us at least even

2. combine this with all the bulls' role players shooting lights out nailing all their outside jumpers...probably not going to happen again

3. it took rose getting his CAREER HIGH while shooting something like 70% from the floor...probably not going to happen again.

if we end up facing the bulls in the finals, we will have home court, rose wont shoot 70% and score 40+ every game, our inside shots will fall, and we wont lose more than 1 or 2 games against them.

Teams can say this just about anytime they lose a game. People seem to be getting career highs on us this year from Aldridge to him to some random bum getting a career night! Is it a cause for concern being we only have 10 losses? Who knows yet, but our D can't stop people at times.

True, but our strategy can also sometimes be our weak points: Bigs who spread the floor. Boozer, Aldridge, Dirk, etc. Truth is we'd rather have them shooting than inside the paint, but if they nail all their jumpers there's not a whole lot you can do. Timmy and blair arent gonna leave the paint to contest the shot too much.

As for rose I agree he's not gonna have a career night in 4 out of 7 games. It took a career night, plus an extra 10+ rebounds for them to have the same Field Goal Attempts as us. We have a bigger front line than them but just couldnt rebound yesterday, that points to a lack of energy.

Typically, with the rebounds even, we're gonna get a few more FGAs than them, Rose is ONLY gonna have his average, and Boozer + bench arent gonna drop all their outside shots. I'm not worried about the bulls or this performance though it would have been nice to finish the RRT at 7-2 as opposed to 6-3.

Players bring their A games when they play us or, say, the lakers, so the good ones are bound to have career nights.

There is one reason to worry about the loss --

Chicago 41 rebounds

Spurs 29 rebounds

And that's against a Bulls team playing w/o Joakim Noah.

Yep, and that is a legit concern whether some admit it or not. Spurs are too small IMO to win it all, but I could be wrong.
