One of the best dunk contests of alltime just for the first round, but lousy finish... especially when McGee gets screwed out of the trophy.

They should hold a consolation final between Ibaka and DeRozan. I guarantee it'll be better than that shit.

The winner is meaningless to me, it doesn't really matter at the end, it's the collection of dunks from all contestants that matter, and I'd have to say that this dunk contest was better than I expected it to be..

I really hate how they need so many attempts to make the dunks, but I guess that's just natural, with the degree of difficulty..That's probably the most underrated aspect of the Carter dunk contest, he didn't need any re-tries for his dunks..

Griffin didn't really deserve it, but whatever..that car dunk wasn't good, he should have at least windmilled or reversed it..the elbow in the rim was quality, though..

Ibaka's FT line was amazing..

Cool seeing that the car went around him. It's all camera angle.

0:36 you can see that Kobe's shadow and the car's shadow intersect the ground at different points along the Y axis (up and down the screen).

Cool though that some of you actually believe this shit. It makes me feel good about my employment future.

McGee's first dunk in the finals was better than either of Griffin's, but it doesn't really matter.

All the participants did something interesting this year, it was actually worth watching for once.

Has the winner always been decided by fan text instead of the judges? Everyone knew the winner before the final round even started.

Ibaka's FT line dunk and McGee's 1st final round dunk were the best.

Quality post. Agree with all of this... the car dunk was not that impressive ...but the voting was inconsistent anyway. Ibaka and Derozan both got robbed by inconsistent scoring. Really should of been DD and McGee in the Finals ...but I wanted to see what Blake would do ...and really like you said it's a dunk contest not the NBA finals ...

I said the same thing about VC deserving props for making all of his ....last night's dunks were harder ...but "redos" take away from the drama ...

From what I read the Clips brass were not very comfortable with the car dunk would of frowned on him doing anything EXCEPT what he did.

Also, Kenny was beyond annoying. I missed the fantasy draft show ...but I thought he made an ass of himself. Im from Broklyn and I dont mind trash talk, but for someone that was a pretty damn great college player and just a solid NBA one ...he acts like he was the greatest shooting, dunking PG in NBA history.

He gives us cats born in Brooklyn ... a bad name. Yes we are confident, yes we have ego but his is outta control.
