nah son you're pretty dead on with your prediction ... the NBA has been pushing the hell out of Rose. expect him to win if the East wins. if the West wins I'm sure it will be Melo.

Lebron will win it.

Why?

He will shoot every time he gets the ball.

He's still young enough to think the ASG is about him.

I'll never forget the look Lebron had on his face last year when Wade won the all-star MVP :lol You could tell Lebron was gunning for it. Someone had made a gif of Lebron in the background looking salty as Wade was handed the MVP trophy but I can't find it. It would also be nice to see some defense played for a change but I doubt that's gonna happen. I'll give the first quarter a chance. If I get the same old boring non-competitive vibe as the last few all-star games I'm not gonna waste my time on the rest of the game.

Considering it's in LA, you have to think Kobe or Griffin because the guys normally play up to the fans. At least they did in Houston. In Dallas they were pretty much "Fuck Dirk" and that was that.

The only real intrigue is whether LA fan boos James as much as Philly fan did Bryant.

Melo is leading the West in scoring and a lead over the East at the end of the first half. Trade happens at halftime sending Melo to the Knicks/Nets, Melo switches over to East and continues his scoring, and brings the East back to victory. Melo goes on to win MVP of the all-star game. Goes down in history as first player to play for both squads during the same game.
