Sources say Mavs have already rejected Nets' request for Dom Jones and a first-rounder in addition to Caron Butler. Butler is their offer

Are you f***** joking?

If we don't give up a late first rounder in the worst draft in recent memory and dom f*** jones for Devin Harris, I give up on the Mavs FO

they arent even offering a first. wow cuban has lost his ways. he is so conservative now. this would ensure the scrub barrea would never see a second of playing time again.

How much better of a player is Butler than Harris, even when healthy?

What does Harris bring that Roddy doesn't? Roddy's going to be in game shape and work out all the rust come April. I'd do this deal if there was an understanding that Butler will boomerang back in the summer. I feel like what we need is a big-game wing like S-Jax.

Why the fuck are we going after Devin Harris?

Mavs need a wing player. They already have plenty of pgs/undersized sgs. If you dumbfucks are going to make a trade, do it for a position of need please! :pctoss:pctoss:pctoss:madrun:madrun:madrun

What does Jackson have left on his deal? Like 2 years, $18 million after this season? He's the #2 scorer to pair with Dirk, and on a contender, he'll play smart and motivated.

I wonder what MJ wants for Jax

Butler's expiring? If the numbers work, maybe throw in a first-round pick.

I would think they would want a piece to play now... I mean, with how horrible the East is, they're only 2 games behind Indy from being in the playoffs. If they let go of GForce or Jax, they basically have to tank unless they're getting some kind of talent in return...

Cutting payroll and bottoming out so they can create cap space and a lottery pick...or the gate receipts from at most two home games in late April?

Looking at the numbers, Dallas could basically swap Terry for Jax... maybe adding some cash to make it more palatable... I just don't see Cubes letting JT go though...

I don't know what's on MJ's mind... don't forget season ticket holder renewals... much different for a team that's playoff bound than a bottom feeder...

Dirk would be pissed because the Dirk-Terry PnR is the bread and butter at the end of games

Marion would work too, but he's basically your only competent SF...
And you would run the P&R between Jax and Dirk...

Well, sure they considered Jax but guess they like other guys like Harris more. Lets see what they do...

If he goes to Portland he gonna play 20 games a season instead of 60. And of course in his first year he will go down with a torn acl

Harris coming to Dallas without having to give up Beaubois would be a great deal. Harris should start. And bye bye Barea. I know he had a great month but I think his size will hurt too much in the playoffs.
