Most of you morons weren't even fans of the NBA during Michael's prime. Jordan was better for so many reasons, but I won't even name any, I'm just going to say that I believe he was better, and that's all that matters.
This forum is pathetic, full of worthless drivel, it's not funny or clever in any way. I have been lurking this board for a long time, same shit, different year.
I have a hair appointment to get to now, I need to get my highlights done, I will return shortly, because I can't resist, despite the fact that I constantly talk about how much I hate you idiots.

just like I'll never turn down a nice piece of ass...I'll never turn down an opportunity to skewer MJ...:lol
The reason I have to discount much of what MJ accomplished and many of his stats...is that he never really had to share the ball...sure he passed it to his teammates but he never had to really "share" the roc like Kobe has....Kobe had to share the ball with arguably the most dominant physical presence this league has ever seen...So Shaq took away from Kobe's stats...otherwise Kobe's numbers would be the same or even better than MJ...
other thing is MJ played against weaker competition and less frequent tougher competition on both sides of the ball, and he had the refs in his pocket...I previously provided hard proof of this ....so he had it much easier than Kobe...so what Kobe is accomplishing is more impressive in my opinion. :toast don't mention it....that one was one me...

When Kobe didn't have dominant big men to 'pass the ball' (AKA bail his ass out) he either missed the playoffs or was a quick exit...
Try another theory, that was already proven wrong.

Good win, especially after that awful three game streak but you can't put too much on that win ... the Hawks have lost by 25+ a few times at home. The real test is tomorrow versus the Blazers and playing a team they can't beat in Portland.
Take the Blazers and give up the points .......

He was voted the most overrated player in the league by his peers last year but recently dude has been a rock especially with the Oden and Roy situation. He's really been playing well..... hopefully the Lakers 9-2 record on the second of back-to-backs won't be a fluke because OKC is right on their asses ......

Just to show how great the gulf really is besides all the stats people commonly show:
Jordan #1 all time on PER while the greatly over-hyped Kobe not even top ten at number friggin 16!
http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/per_career.html
Kobe honestly not even fit to carry Jordan's jock.

Kobe honestly not even fit to carry Jordan's jock.
But, Kobe didn't try and sneak in at the end of season to snag a ring,,,like Jordan did. He failed, but, he tried that f'in' stunt nonetheless.
One more, and then we're get down to the business of gettin' down.

Who is actually debating this? MJ has 6 rings until someone else gets 6 that is a legit star (no horry does not count) this is a waste of time. Only folks even in the vicinity of MJ that I have seen are Kobe, Magic, Kareem, tim and maybe Shaq ...
And yes I know this was a troll but since others posted a reply I thought I would do the same ...

He's will have 6 rings, the only guy who will rival him is Fisher, and that's just about it.

TnT's Collin's panick stricken bellowing of "no" when Artest nailed that 3 late Vs. Phoenix in the '10 WCF's was a watershed moment in Bryant's driven stalking of Jordan's 6 rings.
