It's pretty sad, Howard has to carry a larger load than any player in the NBA, he has taken Dirk's crown..
Arenas is a D-league player, Turkoglu hasn't changed much, they have the worst perimeter defenders in the NBA..
Otis Smith will make another panic move, although this time, it's essential..

We need one of these for The Bulls.

Seriously... that is such an underachieving team. They are going to get killed by the Beasts of the East.

They aren't really underachieving, they don't have much talent anymore..

Dwight cant wait to come play & act in LA. No reason for him to waste his amazing talents & prime years in Disneyworld with a bunch of chuckers.

As we speak, Otis Smith is on NBA Live furiously trying out various blockbuster trades. The only question is whether he can find a willing partner by the trade deadline, or whether he will wait till the summer to unleash his genius.

It really looked like that trade they made had paid off. They walloped us and won 9 in a row. They've beaten good teams and lost to really shitty ones. It'll be interesting to see how their season ends. As for Dwight going to LA... I'm predicting it doesn't happen. I'm sure he's familiar with Shaq crushing the spirits of that city, and he's too nice a guy to fuck those fans over again.

Dwight is the only solid piece on that team. Hedo sucks, JRich is inconsistent, they traded away their best backup C in Gortat, Arenas is a scrub at this point.....the team overall chucks way too many 3's. This is a huge example of a team that is headed in the wrong direction and peaked in December.
Also, I really hope Dwight doesn't sell out and go to LA....they basically have it in their heads that he's gonna play there one day, and I would love to taste those tears if he decides to take his talents somewhere more reasonable.

today's trades make Orlando's big trade seem like their owner was high on PCP at the time

Hard to watch JRich play for the Orlando Magic. He was a big-time performer for the Suns in last year's playoffs, and our most consistent scorer before we traded him this season. I wish we could get him back.

Orlando would probably trade him back, too..he's playing some of the worst D in NBA history, he's making Vince look like Bruce Bowen..

He wasn't the greatest defender with us, but he certainly played better D than Vince Carter.

I didn't watch him play for the Suns, but most Magic fans have been saying his D has been noticeably worse than Carter's or any other Magic player(a team with terrible perimeter defenders), which is saying a lot, since Vince is a mediocre defender..
It probably doesn't help that Orlando is using him as a defensive stopper..

It's extremely clear watching both players that neither of them liked the trade. Carter acts like he doesn't give a flying fuck.

What I was gonna say. Defense is all about effort. J-Rich thought he found a home in Phoenix (his agent tried to repeatedly negotiate an extension with Sarver, his calls were never returned) then was traded when everyone thought he would at least finish the season here. VC knows he's done in Phoenix after this year and he's only here because of his expiring deal. Neither one is very motivated right now and they're both prolly disheartened at more or less becoming journeymen.
