hey guys, im in a very competitive pickleball league in austin, and im looking for a doubles partner! as you know, pickleball is quickly becoming one of the most popular sports in the US. some speculate it will soon be an olympic sport. right now im a top 500 singles player in the world. however, i need a doubles partner so i can tear up the rankings. come on, lets do this!

if youre interested in joining me in reaching the top, give my good man Gail a call...follow this link to the TX listing and his number is there http://www.usapa.org/ambassador/index.php?u=usapa_ambassadors.php. tell him youre interested in teaming up with Ted, but they know me better as "Pepinito." dont know why they call me that, but it stuck :lol.

here's some more info...as well as a video of the 2008 finals. those guys mean business, but with practice and patience, we should be able to take them on.

Wtf is up with that video? It reminds me of "The Critic". Did you intentionally make it fuzzy beyond recognition?

dude ive had so many bruises from those wiffle balls coming at me. it hurts, especially when one catches you in the eye.

last year i had an opposing player "accidently" hit me in the mouth with his paddle. six months later, i was sitting in the operating room because my my incisor - number 7 tooth according to the dental system - was turning black. turns out the hit traumatized my tooth, and my root snapped in two.

moral of the story is, if you dont take pickleball seriously, you could end up spending a fortune on a root canal. seriously, when my dentist struck the infection, it was like striking oil. a stench consumed the air and could be smelled through the entire office. when i went to pay my bill, the receptionist even said "smells like a fresh root canal." now my tooth has dulled in color, but when people ask, i always smile wide and proud, humbly exclaim "pickleball," then theyre like ":wow".

dont let the cover of the book fool you, its the most hardcore sport ive played in my life. i mean, we're alot of youthful guys out there trying to bring back a little manliness in our sissified sports society. when we hurt our big toe or our prostates are bothering us, we dont let it bring us down. we still play (unlike most NBA athletes who miss a game because of "flu-like symptoms :rolleyes.")

look, one of the players in that video is wearing a kneebrace. thats dedication, especially after sustaining such a terrible injury while playing the sport. its like being attacked by a shark while surfing, having your entire arm consumed by its jaws, and gouging out its eyeballs just to get away from it. then, two weeks later, youre out back on that surfboard.

thats how we feel about pickleball, bitch.

see for yourselves...

I'm pretty sure I could wreck that sport after a couple months of playing it. :lol
