Great opportunity for James to gain some major confidence tonight

Hill and Parker both spend time covering Williams. I actually think that people are going to be surprised Devin Harris isn't a bad PG, he's a solid nba starter, and doesn't hurt play-off teams there. The nets upgraded but this isn't that huge of a step. Alot of the rest of the roster is just bad though. Favors was decent and looked to have potential. I think that the off season determines a huge amount but unless the nets upgrade their front line substantially you'll have Williams destroy two teams and Avery get fired. I hate to say that because I think the guy can be a good coach but he got put into a bad situation in Dallas because Cuban is 20 different kinds of special and he's going to have a hard time building a team in Jersey since I question the Russians patience as well and Williams is petulant when not getting his way and when loosing.

The Spurs just become a giant leaking sieve when Tim Duncan is off the court... that isnt going to change in the playoffs... no matter how many hairsprayers Pop delivers... the team just hasnt got the tools to be anything more than mediocre defensively in the 20 minutes that Duncan is off the court.

That may be so but they're just overworking themselves needlessly. These are shitty teams. We should be up by 20 while Timmy drinks his gatorade chilling. Instead of just playing with no worry they'll have to actually show up against the lowly Nets. Spurs better hope that 1, they're defense and intensity rise up and 2, that Deron keeps taking the night off. Had Deron actually play some ball I fear the Nets would be up by 10 at least.
