The cd Torches is great. Alt-nation on xm radio started to play Pumped Up Kicks last summer. Helena Beat is their new single now. Wouldn't mind Life on the Nickel being their next.
How are they a hipster band?

I had a chance to step back and actually listen to the new record and retool my opinion of these guys. They're basically this business cycles OK GO, you can put this shit in any commercial and sell shit to people with it...it still sucks donkey dick, and there's no real sense of musicianship in it whatsoever, but I'm not surprised at whatever attention they continue to get because they market perfectly to the hipster crowd.

how could you not? I'm HORRIBLE at hearing lyrics and I knew this.
And what a baby bitch this guy is. Is he still living in 1950? I wonder how he took it when A Clockwork Orange came out. After all, it shows a woman being raped and the guy singing Singin in the Rain. Or what about when those coloreds sang Fuck The Police? I bet he also wanted all the GTA games takin off the shelves

:lol Song is funny.
I was at work and they either play the mega mainstream station or the dad rock station with the same 20 songs every day. They played Like a G6, Pumped Up Kicks and that dubstep song all in a row. Just sort of made me laugh.
What made it funny was this Mexican lady at work who can barely understand English was singing the entire song.
