Yeah I was confused that there was no report that the Spurs were interested. Chicago is confirmed though right? Of is he still up for grabs?

apparently it was a LOCK for him to go to Chi (probably still is) but with Dallas and now us interested you never know..I still think he'll go to Chicago, he's from PA so he's probably sick of it down south. Chicago's good too so it's not like he's going to a shitty team

I would love to get Rasual. Although he hasn't played much this year, hes got the skill set and physical tools we're looking for.

Sure does.

Because Anderson probably will not be in the playoff rotation, I wonder how much Pop would value a seasoned vet like Butler? If signed, would he trust him in the playoffs?

Rasual Butler now takes a backseat to Corey Brewer though. Holy crap, what a buyout option...

It's good to finally see the Spurs go after a long 3.. Would be a nice thing to have especially against Durant in the playoffs.
I don't see the Thunder go higher than the 4th seed, so it's obvious that the Spurs and Thunder would meet up in the 2nd round.

Rasual Butler would be a solid backup SF for us, but Corey Brewer's got to be the first option.

This. I think Brewers got more potential for years to come. If he can develop a 3-ball, he'll stick like.....well......use your imagination. :lol

probably a better option than brewer for this season. depends on what the spurs want. i doubt brewer will be able to get minutes in the playoffs. butler is a vet so his chances are higher.

I agree. Brewer is the superior defender and I think more of what the Spurs need, but either one would be an upgrade at the back up small forward.

I would've liked him after 2008, not now.

Brewer > Butler
