100s, maybe 1000s, of mature palm trees (some decades old) in central TX have been killed in Jan 2010 and 2011 multi-day low-20F cold snaps.

Any palm trees in WI must be inside.

There's some palms in southern Wisconsin. I've been to Madison a few times, mostly in the summer, and I never saw one...but the place is green as hell. Beautiful city.

Doubtful. Those looked like old growth palms in that vid. Which is why I said "I've been to Madison a few times, mostly in the summer, and I never saw one.."
