A few years ago you would hear about drive by's and houses getting shot up on a daily basis...I just don't hear about them anymore...

Is it just not news worthy anymore or is inter-gang warfare down?

This was prevalent in the 90's with the mafias rolling into S.A. but the PD cracked down on them pretty hard.

I would agree with gas prices...not too many homies got snaps on the petrol.

They still happen out in the birthplace of 'em, L.A., but now there are just as many walk-up shootings as there is drive-bys.

Nowadays when some homie tries to creep up on your chica, you just remove him from your friend list on Facebook, and tweet that he's been blowing one of his other homies.

Hurts way worse than bullets.
