Yes and he is also the far better all time player - the MAN on 4 championship teams and a higher PER* (top ten all time vs. the over-hyped 17th ranked gunner that is Bryant, the Man on only two championship teams and is a fact that he formerly could not even lead to the playoffs one year sans Shaq or Gasol):

Duncan also has a higher career winning percentage but wake me when he gets publicity for becoming a top ten shot blocker or arguebly had the greatest NBA block season of all time (in recorded NBA history as Russell and Chamberlain did not have years counted)

Finally the over the top love for Bryant these days when he went 6 for 24 in the deciding finals game earning a nebulous MVP for the series is simply over the top.
