Problem Child or not I think he would help us on the board and we know he can score if needed

First of all, was it done before yesterday night midnight? Otherwise he's not eligible for the playoffs.

The Timberwolves reached a buyout agreement with center Eddy Curry on Tuesday night.
Minnesota acquired Curry along with forward Anthony Randolph in a trade with New York last week.
They also got $3 million in cash in the deal, which will cover the cost of Curry's buyout.
Curry was waived before the midnight deadline, which means he is eligible to participate in the playoffs if he signs with another team.

But Curry is known to have a heart problem, besides a weight problem by the way, that has ended many a career, similar to Fabs problem that ended his career.

If the Spurs need a fat, lazy pothead with a heart problem to sit on the end of the bench, I'm sure they could find someone in San Antonio who will do it for free.

I'm sure Taco Cabana's already lobbying Pop to make this happen. This guy would be a bigger, black version of Beno.

I would rather have 3 Bonners and George Hill as the fulltime starting PG.

Just told all 30 teams notified WEDS that Wolves did submit waiver request on Eddy Curry prior to TUES nite deadline. He IS playoff eligible

Apparently he is currently in the WORST shape, that's all I have been hearing about him. I wouldn't consider him at all.

Really, OP? Really? A guy who is so lazy that he's basically sat out for 3 straight years?

I'd give him a spot on the Toros for a full season, but that's it. If he could put together a really strong complete season in the NBDL, then maybe he'd be worth taking a minimum salary gamble on the year after.

I think that was Eddie Griffin. Curry is the one who pulled it out to his driver and told him to touch it.

I remember a game when he was playing with the Bulls before the rest of the world caught on that he sucked. He played like 27 minutes and grabbed a whopping 0 rebounds. He's fat lazy and unmotivated and unlikely to have a personality change at this point. It's who he is.
