You heard it hear first, folks. Watch how he plays. The resemblance is uncanny. He slashes to the basket just like Ginobili. He uses that little euro step to move around defenders near the rim just like Ginobili. The guy steals the ball like a fiend. He has crazy ability to finish around the rim.

Jeffers will one day make his way into the hallowed ranks of being a top 20 NBA player from humble beginnings, just like Ginobili did.

I'll bump this thread in 5 years when my premonition has come to fruition.

Volume three point shooter just like Ginobili too.

Actually reminds me more of Ron Mercer before his talent dried up.

Making assessments from a highlight video is always hard but....

Jump shot has a high release point but hes very slow in getting it off (like Jefferson). Good body control and athleticism. Can he finish at the rim with his left hand (not a dunk)? Seems to be a decent ballhandler in the lane, at least against the inferior D-League talent and on a highlight vid.

seems more like Ben Gordon to me

At least he knows how to pass the ball.

Slow for his position, but strong for his size; Looks like a young Ron Artest at best, Ime Udoka at worst.

I would take another G. Neal or G. Hill but this prospect has some unique skills including rebounding that the Spurs could use and incredible arm span it appears.

Three and a half minutes of video and not one pass was made.

My favorite part of that vid was the replay of the mediocre breakaway dunk...3 times straight...w/ slooooow-mooooo.

Mother. fucking. chills.

I don't agree with the Manu comparison. He's more of a Kobe/LeBron hybrid with the defensive paint presence of a young Ben Wallace.

He's a Tony Allen type player, except Tony probably has a lot more moves on the offensive end.

As long as he's better than the third coming of Ime Udoka...

He's just so amazing that he makes it look mediocre, hater. Probably an act of humility. Spurs character all the way. And what not.

Strange, he doesn't look to me much like a left-handed Argentinian with a herky-jerky unorthodox style.

There are bulked-up guards that you could possibly compare him to but please, Ms. Jeffers, not the incomparable world-famous Manu Ginoooooooobilli.

Had a pretty decent stint with the jazz but doubt he pans out to even score in double digits the entire time he's here...never know though...

No need to bash the guy..if Pop brought him in, he must think he has something. Reminds me a little of Neal. Let's see if the guy can play defense..that's really what we need.
