Who cares about the past wins.

Games like this will rattle the Spurs; and it'll prove to the blind faithful what this team lacks:

Rebounding

Defense

This game shows our weaknesses. Doesn't mean we won't win a championship, but we have to find a way to beat the good teams when the threes aren't falling. We also need to play better defense.

Championships aren't supposed to be easy or predictable.

It just one of those games...lakers brought it tongiht but I don't see that happening in a 7 game series, we kept them competive in everyone game besides today, spurs couldn't hit nothing and it was never about the lakers size, you just have an off night, but duncan needs to step it up, he didn't look like he wanted to be there today

This game means absolutely nothing as far as our 'ship hopes go.

Defense was fine tonight. Lakers just made what the Spurs gave them. I mean come on... Gasol 1/2 from 3?

Spurs couldn't make what the Lakers gave them. It was just that simple. Rebounding was a problem tonight, but you can't do much if you have great position, but the rebound is hard and high off of the back iron.

The real concern was the starters sans Parker. No energy, no lift on their shots, more importantly, no sense of urgency. Tonight Bench>Starters.

If getting blown out on your home court by the 2-time defending champs is just one of those games, what is winning off a last second tip-in by your oldest player? Or Blair's 17/15 in December?

This was a solid win, a win to build on.
It should be a slap in the face for us as well. Blair, Bonner & Dice ain't gonna cut it in a 7 game series. We have no choice but to play Splitter. Even that will most likely not be enough, but against the Champs you use every option available.
