Well, I'm happy to admit I was wrong. I thought it was going 6, because once again, I keep forgetting, these are not "THOSE" Spurs of years past.
Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Horry, etc. just won't let them be. Too much heart, too much veteran leadership, too much poise in the crunch.

And after seeing the way they've responded to every challenge this postseason----the Game 1 loss to Denver, the "blown" 2-0 lead to Seattle, the brutally physical play in the first 2 rounds, the exhausting, frenetic pace of the Suns, etc.---I can genuinely say that this team WILL take 4 of 7 from either Detroit or Miami. They'll be rested and ready. The bench will be even deeper, since Big Dog, Rasho, and Massenburg can all be used against Miami/Detroit.

GO SPURS.

Until the next time when God forbid everything does not go perfect for the Spurs, and the opposing team doesn't just roll over and hand them the throphy... :rolleyes

If it's Detroit, I'd like to see Horry start to force Ben Wallace out. I'd LOVE to see Big Dog get some major PT, too.

It'll be a tough series, either way, but this Spurs team looks mentally tough to me, despite many people's protests otherwise.

Yeah, mentally they're there. I really don't know what would keep this Spurs from getting a championship this year. Maybe an inspired Detroit team showing the heart of champions.
