Paul is out, Ariza is a gametime decision. Looks like the Mavs are poised to end the 10 game losing streak in New Orleans.

Chandler is game-time decision. Player I'm worried about on NO is Willie Green. He all of a sudden becomes a combo of Reggie Miller and D-Wade against the Mavs

Is Chandler playing tonight?

Still questionable. I guess he could play, but I wouldn't be surprised if RC sits him tonight and tomorrow in order to have him in completely healthy against the Lakers.

He ain't playing. Just read this....

Chandler: "There's no need to get out there and then have this thing lingering on for a long time..."

But could he be...

Chandler ended his scrum in walk-off fashion: "I can't let 'em know. I can't let them prepare for me!"

Well if Chandler doesn't play, then Hornets have a chance if West and Okafur work hard underneath. Still an uphill battle without CP3.

But if Chandler does wind up playing, then yeah it may get ugly.

This is a blessing in disguise. Brewer will get a chance to show whether he is worth keeping as a starter or not.

He believes it. Chandler will probably play, and with Peja out
we will see more Stevenson/ Brewer. Which can't be a bad thing

Kidd
Beaubois
Brewer
Nowitzki
Chandler. Hope to see this lineup tonight as I think it would be effective.

Ariza expects to play. Shouldn't be too much of a factor since Mavs won't have a strong wing scorer.

Chandler will help guard against West. Noah completely shut down West the other night. I expect TC to do the same. Also, Kidd will be useful with CP3 out.

I want Brewer to start, but I would rather Cardinal have the start than Peja. At least Cardinal can hit an open 3 with some consistency, and hustles his ass off on defense. Hell, if Brewer ended up sucking ass for some reason, I would by far want the Mavs to go in the playoffs with Cardinal starting over Peja.

ditto.

the Mavs fastbreak game would be definitely better, with Roddy and Brewer, as both of them run the floor extremely well, and defensively they would improve significantly.

I agree starting Brewer over Peja. Peja would fit better with Marion, JET, and JJ on the floor.

agreed

peja backing up dirk would be kinda like when they went to the finals with Keith Van Horn backing up Dirk. KVH then and Peja now are almost the same player, minimal defense, but can explode from time to time on offense to replace the scoring lost while Dirk is out.

Agreed. Not sure why RC is starting Peja anyway unless he wants to spread the floor for Dirk.

lol Can you imagine Peja at PF and Dirk at center? Ivory towers return. lol Avery Johnson loved that lineup.

Carlisle has this thing where he likes to play unathletic foreigners who suck over young athletic black men.

This is a blessing in disguise.

Its not in a disguise at all imho. Not saying hes completely useless, but Peja needed a benching anyway considering his recent play.
