I think Eddy Curry would help just for the rest of this year against the Lakers.
Small Ball = Phoenix Suns = 0 Titles

Suns, I mean Spurs with the win tonight against the Pistons, why are you complaining? ;)
Defense and rebounding is over-rated anyway, 'cause it's the regular season record that predicts how we'll do in the PO. Oh, and 4 rings!
Spurs fans are so spoiled.

Duncan, Oberto, Horry, Elson?

Oberto who was 6'9 and Horry who was 6'10
Elson who barely contributed.

Oberto Horry Duncan was the rotation bigs in the playoffs.

Again, not exactly the defensive twin towers.

Don't need defence if you can just shoot 3's right?

Man, defence is so overrated. When your opponent scores a 2 you just make a 3 and you get 1 more point then them each time.

Elson who barely contributed.

Oberto Horry Duncan was the rotation bigs in the playoffs.

Again, not exactly the defensive twin towers.

Oberto was a banger, and Horry at least can block the occasional shot and knew how to draw a charge. Both of those were >>>>>>> Matty and Blair.

Not to mention that Duncan was a lot better then and didn't require anywhere near as much help.

Oberto is listed at 6'10 actually. Elson 7 feet.

Fail.

Get the fuck outta my thread EricB. Lol distorting my argument to say we need twin towers and "giant" big men. You're a fucking moron. Learn how to make an intelligible argument before you try and argue.

The season just gets worse as it goes along. Way to crush dreams, Popovich. Outsmarting yourself, once again.

A game is 48 minutes long barring overtime. My question to the people who complain about small ball, isn't it just a player lineup package that Pop employs in hopes of getting an advantage against certain lineups? It's the same thing a football coach does when he brings in a 2 tight-end set or 3-WR set. It's always been about the matchups. The LAL has a better frontcourt, the Spurs have a better backcourt. It's the differences in the advantage that will determine the final outcome.

But what a pleasure to get a ring with small ball !!!

Pop just wants to show Dantoni how to win it all with offense alone. Pop was bored.

Who were the giant bigmen on the 07 team?

Well the primary center on the 2007 championship team is the same guy who couldn't get any minutes from his coach the previous year because he was a rookie, even though he was in his 30s and had extensive international professional experience.

PS: He was not the biggest of the 2007 center rotation and he was taller than Blair, Bonner and Dice.

Do u think that guy could get out of retirement and just play a couple of playoff series????

i tend to agree with mingus, i think pops pride will be tested once we get deeper in the playoffs and he'll either stick with his guns and the let the ship sink or do what it takes to win and cut the small ball bonner bullshit out
