Duncan was tied at #9 with Robert Parish. The one block tonight gives him sole possession of #9.

2356 Mourning #11
2361 Parish #10
2362 Duncan #9

Pretty sweet. Would be nice if he stuck around couple more years after 2011 as a role player to get a few spots higher on blocks/rebounds big men list.

Kobe, who has been regarded as one of the best defensive guards in the league, is not even part of the top 20 in steals and blocks. Just saying...

Blocked shots are a great stat. Back when Lew Alcindor (Now known of course as Kareem Abdul Jabbar) played for UCLA, there was one opposing coach that practiced with his team holding up tennis rackets so the players could get an idea how to try to score against him. Can't remember which college, maybe Purdue.

It was the University of Dayton, Ohio. I read about it before and I just double checked.

Props to TD. His name is next to, if not above, some of the greatest to ever play the game in the record books. First ballot Hall of Famer, easily.
