Tbh:

Two days after saying the the Dallas Mavericks will catch the San Antonio Spurs one way or another, whether it be in the regular season or postseason, Jason Terry, a man who turns a quote with the ease of tossing a 3-ball, took the Spurs-Mavs rivalry a step further after Thursday's practice.

Weakest 52-12 team I've seen tbh. LOL at SA shooting damn near 70% today & Detroit still hung around. Thats what happens when you got a bunch of midgets that cant grab boards. Detroit 20 offensive rebounds. :lol

I agree. Spurs are dynamite offensively and will execute better than most teams, but they won't intimidate opponents like in the past.

As long as the Spurs win the games, I really couldn't care less if somebody feels intimidated or not.

spurs remind me a lot of 06-07 Mavs. not saying they will go out in first round, but they will somehow fuck up their historical season, and not even make it to the finals.

The new offense was put in for the express purpose of resting Tim. They are still 4-5 points better per 100 possessions on defense with Tim in, and they won't be limiting him to 28 minutes in the playoffs. It will be more like 36-37 minutes.

I hope the Spurs are in the WCF...the Lakers will need an easy series at that point.

He did play well in last year's playoffs. Honestly, he doesn't have to be dominate. Just solid. A double-double type.

Exactly.

Somehow they think it's a sick burn even though it's been wrapped up for awhile. We've been 6-8 games back for like a month now

It's all gravy at this point, really. I thought the Spurs would win anywhere from 45 to 55 games, so this season has been a pleasant surprise.

With the way the Spurs give up offensive rebounds, which are one of the most important elements to control in the post-season, my hopes of a 5th O'Brien aren't all that high.

Well then the GNSF that started this thread is retarded for misinterpreting it.

Anyone with half a brain knows the Mavs have no chance to catch the Spurs. Having HCA with the Lakers is more important. The last 3 times the Mavs and Spurs met in the playoffs the team without HCA won the series so it's not that big a deal imho

Quite possibly the dumbest comment I've ever seen anyone say..ever. Especially after that person's team lost 2 out of 3 to that "weak" 52-12 team.

no thats what happens when you bench your rebounders and the centerpiece/workhorse to your bigs is a toronto raptor scrub.

i love my spurs and still think we can win a championship, but its going to be by the hair on my chest which isnt much right now unless pop pulls me (saint tiago) out there to defend down low and take charges all day we will continue to be raped (sodomized) and dunked on while matt bonner runs to his three point line
n.

believe me i would love for bonner to come through for us during the playoffs but history tells us he cant handle big moments and this year is intense for at least 3years now ive seen him choke in the playoffs last year he did alright but thats because we were swept with no shot at winning=again no real pressure. i hope im wrong

dont mean to make fun but ignorant of reality just sounds funny to me i guess it would be correct anyway i think if we do meet the lakers in the w conf finals phil jackson will expose our weakness down low and just make us look really stupid

however i believe coach pop will be dealt a hand either he sticks with his guns like a stubborn old man in which well lose or he admits his small ball is utter shit against l.a and goes with the bigs who defend in which case i know we can win. especially seeing how rested tim and mcD are
