Indeed, Richard Jefferson looked tiny going up against Odom and KD, and Kobe posted up Gary Neal and George Hill with ease. I got outrebounded almost 2 to 1 in both contests and lost both games. If this is the most realistic Basketball videogame ever, should we be worried?

Spurs suck in 2K. Tony Parker's jump shot looks so weird. I like how his sig shot is the same as Brandon Roy's. Like wtf, they don't shoot anything like each other. Same with George Hill, James Anderson, and Chris Quinn, those three don't have the same looking shot. Maybe Hill and Quinn is a little similar. Gary Neal is worthless in the game - he doesn't jump when he shoots and don't actually try to drive with him. Plus he sucks at defense, moreso than in real life. Richard Jefferson's 3 rating is probably so high now he can't miss, but I used to not could buy a shot because his release was such a flat slingshot. Blair can't rebound for shit bc he's too short. You can get 10 rebounds in 48 minutes with just about any big man getting decent minutes. I'm talking Andrea Bargnani can average 10. :lol

I think Neal is really good on offense at mid-range in 2k11 if open. He almost never misses. Also Tony is decent inside with pump fakes unless there are two bigs clogging the paint. James Anderson isn't half bad. Bonner is horrific and his release seems lower than in reality. Overall, I am pretty good at the game. It is just striking to see how the Spurs looked like sixth graders versus the taller Lakers and OKC.

I love playin with Bon-bon. I kill niggas with him. They forget all about him everytime an I light they Asses up for it. Bonner shot is ez. When he put the ball on his head you let if fly! Kinda like Kevin Martin of the Rockets. Blair will make a midrange if you know his release. It's like Hills, Anderson , & Quinn's. I'm really a monster with the Spurs. Ain't to many people can say they have beat them twice. Tyson Chandler is the only one from spurstalk that can say he has.

I traded Parker to the bucks for Andrew Bogut (beast in 2k11) in my first season. Started Hill at PG backed up by Quinn...Bogut and Duncan in the middle were huge for me. Bogut was doing 25/15 a game easily.

Next season was Duncans last. I traded Duncan, neal and a scrub for Bosh, Chalmers and Mike Miller.

So far in this new season with a starting squad of Chalmers, Ginobili, Jefferson, Bosh and Bogut we are 13 and 2.

My defense is terrible (mostly because i suck at it), but my offense is unstoppable.

Umm Parker is like the best slashing 1 or 2 guard in the game. Iso up top with him and your guaranteed so many points. Ive had 3 straight 45+point games with him. His finishing is insane in the game.

same here. His hustle for rebounds is lacking big time. the AI has offered me so many different trades for him though. None have been good enough to take.

Pick and roll with bogut and/or bosh is 2pts almost every single time. They always double the guard and leave the big man open to the basket...its almost like its broken.

Kobe Bryant is rated waaaaaay too high on the 2k roster but thats the benefit of being the defending champ in a video game. Gilbert Arenas' rating is also way too high but you can edit them yourself.

I actually win quite often against the CPU. Right after those two losses I played Denver as the SPurs and won by 32. The concern is that the realism is so great that the OKC and Lakers' height were enough to counteract the dwarf-like play of Blair and RJ, one of the tiniest front-lines in real basketball and 2k basketball.

When I win it is mostly by taking open mid-range jumpers with Neal and Ginobili and getting Parker to the FT line. Duncan rarely scores more than 10 points for me. It is usually Parker, Ginobili, Neal then Hill as my top four. But they are so darn short in the game it looks rediculous!

RJ definitely has a slow release; like he's shooting from his knees or something. I actually have gotten better at draining 3s with RJ, Neal, and Hill, but it's usually a standing jump-shot (usually after the defense has collapsed on Parker, Manu, or Duncan).

Come to think of it, the only person I can really consistently hit 3s with off the dribble and step-back are Manu (I pretty much only play as Spurs unless I'm doing the Bulls challenges).

Tim's midrange jumper is pretty consistent (and Dice's is money), but he has a tricky early release (as with his free throws). Fortunately, years of watching Tim help you identify it pretty easily...I hardly miss freebies with Tim even with his bad rating.

Manu is a beast still, and Parker is still quick but you can't just dart around people like in the older games, so he's not as effective (tho he's got a mean spin-move).

One thing I like to do with DJ Blair is when facing an opponent - let's say on the left side - go 1 on 1 then do a spin move (using the triangle on the PS3) and then layup pr dunk.

I've actually been able to have 30-35 point games with RJ. :lol Although I usually take my man off the dribble alot, which RJ hardly does now. Dice's jumper is money. And you're right about TD also, even though his FT shooting rating is bad, I hardly ever miss a FT with him also.

how do you tone down the CPUs ability to cut off passing lanes. I go through stints sometimes where i turn it over like 10+ times in a quarter...It is so annoying.

Ill also notice occasionally, ill do a pick and roll witha wide open rolling forward, and ill go to pass it, and instead it decides to pass it across the entire court to a guarded man. It just seems to do it randomly.

Ive owned the game a while, but dont really play it enough.

I play spurs on 2k11 too, I actually think LA is easy, I beat them 90% of the time. The players that are hard to guard is Lebron, Durant, any 3 or 4 who is faster than RJ and Timmy, which is realistic I guess. Derek Rose is tough to guard too.

But boston, mavs, lakers are easy to beat.
Thunder, Heat, Bulls, much tougher.

I think I will attempt to utilize JA more. The reason I don't is that his 67 rating is kinda low, but I've noticed he is quick on the drive and finishes contested shots at the rim better than most of the 2k11 Spurs, with the exception probably of Manu and RJ.
