I'm seeing the game between Lakers and Heat. He lives in the paint on ofence, on defence. I count 12 seconds a couple of times!!!

all good centers know how to abuse the 3 second rule. shaq has done it for years.

They do not want him to rush out of there so fast he might get injured...

They won't call it.

I was going to start a thread about that. I spent a good part of the game just watching Bynum. He stands with his arm extended, like he is really guarding someone. But a lot of the time there is no one in the same zip code. He just plays center field, and the refs refuse to call it.

I was watching Artest. He stands with one foot in the paint and one out. And every couple of seconds, he pulls the one foot out of the paint to avoid the 3-seconds. It looks like he's doing some kind of dance. He may be a crazy bastard, but he plays the game the way it's supposed to be played.

The two worst in the league about the 3-seconds are Bynum and Dwight Howard (but it's not limited to them). Both are good players - but they gain a huge advantage when they are allowed to camp in the paint. Both coaches talk about forcing the other team to shoot jump shots, but they don't talk about how they accomplish that. It's a great strategy if you can get by with it.

It's clear to me that the league has taken a position to go light on 3-second calls, just like they did with travelling. I guess the monster blocks sell tickets sort of like monster dunks.

It's going to be a real problem for the Spurs in the playoffs, I think.

Pop won't have it in the playoffs. Once he makes enough noise they will be exposed..I was saying the exact same thing during the game.

i think it would be great if the Spurs sent in a tape of this if/when they meet the Lakers.

That's what I was thinking. I think the Spurs will make every effort to draw attention to this and make sure the refs don't overlook it.

LAKER fans better take note that we are paying attention. This will be brought up during our series. So you guys better have a PLAN B.

Yep, Pop would stress this enough to get a few calls here or there which should be enough to get Bynum out of rhythm ...

this is where the crowd can really help the team; just get everyone chanting 1...2...3 every time bynum enters the paint on offense.

You guys better try and get him moved out to the three point line if you want to have a chance.

Both Robinson and Duncan have done the same thing, even before they allowed "zone".
