Helluva a dunk on Manu. That was nice - and much appreciated.

Don't make Manu angry . . . :toast

What the helluva happened? I only watched bits and pieces of the game. When I came back, the game was finished.

Taylor gets a sick oop, Manu got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, Manu immediately comes back and puts a 3 down the Kings' throat. Next possession everyone in the arena - Kings included - think Manu's about to drop the hammer with another 3, he makes the slick pass to Tim for the easy 2 (goaltending).

Jeter comes right back with a pull-up jumper (love that kid's heart) and Manu shoves another 3 down their throat. With about 3:30 left in the game, he harasses Cousins at the free throw line and manages to get all the way out to the corner to contest and alter a would-be open corner 3. MAN.

That was a game young team tonight and they had the Spurs on the ropes. Nice to have a guy like Manu who can turn an uninspired performance that would knock out a lazy contender on most nights into a win on the cards. :tu

Crowd went crazy over the bat. Manu's reaction was great, but so was Westphal's. If you remember, the BatManu game was also against Sacramento. I was sitting behind the Sacto bench that night and Westphal picked up his clipboard to use as a weapon. He did the same thing tonight. Once the bat was dispatched, he had an exchange with Pop that looked pretty funny.
