Cool, maybe they'll be grateful for the Spurs giving them the day off.
Time to get another divisional win in the books! If the Spurs (8-4) can win two more division games, that earns them the tie-breaker over Dallas (6-7), essentially giving them an extra game ahead of the Mavericks. Can't take any of these for granted!
After the energy exerted last night though...I don't expect this to be an easy one.

Houston is never an easy game for the Spurs, but they really only exerted themselves for the last six minutes of the 4th quarter last night. They were sleepwalking through the first 42 minutes.

Ya, Houston always is tough in the regular season, not just for the Spurs. They play with great energy almost the entire game and they hustle. They have scorers and they really try to play defense.
Always a game that can really turn into something bad if you don't come out focused.

Let's not even talk about George's court vision always missing the open guy and him running the point and plays. His idea of offense is running the clock down until there's 8 seconds left, calling for a pick and roll and shooting the ball with 3 seconds left. I can't really remember him passing the ball on a pick and roll. Makes me cringe.

The same thing can be said about why they traded away JRich and let Amare walk.

i loved courtney during w. kentucky's tourney run a few years ago. i was hoping they make the final four. i also wanted the spurs to draft him or ryan anderson. but we got hill instead, no complaints there.

For fucks sake, he looks strong as fuck, but when anyone touches him he loses the ball. It's really annoying when he drives to the rack and hardly ever get a shot up when fouled because the ball is out of his hands. he can't seem to hold a ball.
