Well, that was about as exciting as watching grass grow. :lol

Just kidding...it would be a lot cooler though if it was the Spurs.

ick! I didn't realize Phoenix was so, so brown. Not a bit of grass.

who took that video.
Great strategy by the kiddies to wear out Shawn Marion's shooting hand by signing autographs.

Psssst... Phoenix is in the middle of the desert. Generallyl, deserts are tan/brown/etc. However we did have a great winter/spring. Tons of rain and everything was green. I have a photo of south mountain and it looks like the hills of Ireland it's so green.

But we have talked about ugly shots before and Im
sticking with Bill Cartwright as the ugliest (just nasty) especially from the free throw line.

I thought this thread was going to be about Amare's first step or Nash's handles.

I love Phoenix it's a beautiful city. And, it reminds me of San Antonio because there's construction all over the place there too.

up until about '87 it was almost exactly like SA. Similar cultural influences and an NBA team. Then the St. Louis Cardinals and Winnipeg Jets moved there and then they got the D-Backs.

Yeah but I think they would like to get rid of the Cardinals now

guess not..they are building a new stadium from them. Bidwell is a crook and is laughing all the way to the bank.

Try as we might they just won't leave. Though it looks like they're finally going in the right direction with Denny.

yeah thats true I cannot imagine anybody supporting a team that doesn't even try to put winners on the field, just like that owner of the Clippers. But, lately at least seems like he's trying to keep talent

Psssst... Phoenix is in the middle of the desert.

For some reason this gave me a fit of giggles because it made me think of that old Sam Kinnison routine about starving people in Ethiopia: "You see this? You know what this is? It's sand! You know what it's gonna be a hundred years from now? Sand! You live in a fuckin' desert!"

I thought it was a cool video; I like stuff like that.
