Considering the best free agent available this summer is probably TJ Ford, not a bad move. CP3 and Deron Williams will be available in the summer of 2012, and Billups' expiring contract next year could be used in a package for one of them. He's probably the best "realistic" option at PG for the Knicks for next season.

Chauncey is not a bad choice funny thing is everyone talks about ho wthey need CP3/Dwill when they REALLLY need a big man ... If they could get chauncey and NENE/KAMAN or any decent BIG, that would be better than
a star PG and a shitty center ...with amare you need big ...
