I don't think the Lakers play Memphis again this year. Maybe the playoffs? Otherwise, Bynum is safe.

Odom hit Drew's knee while falling backwards... had to come out of the game.

Bynum said there is nothing new on his knee, just got hit on a play under the rim. He's fine, will be ready for next game.

Sounds like he's fine.

Sounds like he's fine.

Thank, Christ.

I was almost in tears over here twixt the victory this morning, the loss this afternoon, and Bynum's injury.

Thanks, for the update, Bud. I could just kiss ya.

If Andrew Bynum has a serious injury, HarlemHeat will buy a shot for every NBA forum regular, or any poster in the NY or Toronto area..

Nothing to see here. Every year bynum plays with one knee or not at all, the Lakers go to the finals, and everything is right with the world. :wakeup

I can tell you that it's a hyper-extension of the knee. That happened to McDyess that one time, and I thought he was done for a week, but then he came back to play that very same game.
Patrick O'Neal, the Fox West reporter just reported that Bynum isn't going to travel to Sacramento. That tells us already that they've started to treat him for an injury and that they have to control swelling. Him being on a plane means altitude and swelling will be an issue. So it's best to ground him and hope that none of the knee parts are overly stretched.

It was probably just a minor hyper extension of his knee, Bynum's injury looked worse.

No...I can tell you as someone who spent many College days being an Athletic Trainer, both McDyess and Bynum's injury looked bad. McDyess' was landing awkwardly after jumping for a ball.

Bynum gets paid 100000000000000x more than Kareem for this. Poor Kareem.

Thankfully Timothy and Manu recovered quickly from their injuries caused by this deplorable attempt at a jinx. Would be a travesty to see the Spurs undermanned in later rounds.

The Lakers and Baby Drew want no excuses when they hand Timmy his retirement papers.

I thought I would save a potential future OP some trouble..sticky?..

Sticky would be great.
