Very simple!!! Great teams Defend and Rebound. The Spurs regular season record and HCA is simply misleading Spurs fans. All year long NBA analyst have been saying that the Lakers, Celtics, and Bulls (all very good defensive and rebounding teams) are the teams to beat. Like everyone else this made me angry. But these analyst do know a little about the league.
Sure we started off great. We all knew our defense was average but our offense was better than ever. Denial. Great Defensive teams stop great Offensive teams. That's just the way it is in all sports. Great Defensive Rebounding teams limit great offensive teams to one and done. I think we have let the opposing teams grab double digit offensive rebounds in 10 of the last 12 games.....NOT GOOD heading into the Playoffs.
Coach Pop fix this!!!!!! Don't care how you do it just do it or we are going to get knocked out of the playoffs wondering what happened.
