EC:

1) Bulls vs. 8) Pacers
2) Celtics vs. 7) 76ers
3) Heat vs. 6) Knicks
3) Magic vs. 5) Hawks

WC:

1) Spurs vs. 8) Grizzlies
2) Lakers vs. 7) Hornets
3) Mavericks vs. 6) Trailblazers
4) Thunder vs. 5) Nuggets

As a Laker fan, I would love the standings to look this way at the end of the regular season. I just hope we can overlap CHI and BOS for HCA when we meet in the finals.

I see the Bulls and Heat in the ECF, with the Bulls winning in seven.

In the west, I think the Lakers will come out if they keep playing like they are right now AND of course if Dallas and SA don't get their collective shit together.

NBA finals is a toss up if the Bulls and Lakers are the participants.

The planets are aligning, just like Stern ordered them to.

Only team that can beat the Lakers is themselves tbh.

They got a bright green light to run now. :bang

Cheesy cake walk schedule.

Grizzlies vs lakers. interesting

HarlemHeat37
03-15-2011, 11:55 PM
Hornets have a touch schedule IIRC..they will get 8th or miss the playoffs IMO..

Memphis has a pretty weak schedule IIRC, they might be able to climb to 6..I don't think Denver falls any lower than 5th..

I would guess:

Spurs vs. Hornets
Lakers vs. Blazers
Mavs vs. Grizzlies
Thunder vs. Nuggets

All 4 would be entertaining series'..

Celtics will continue to coast IMO, Bulls should have the #1 seed pretty easily, Miami ends up 2nd IMO..

I would guess:

Bulls vs. Pacers
Heat vs. Sixers
Celtics vs. Knicks
Magic vs. Hawks

The 2 middle series' should be decent, while the other 2 would be shitty..

If I had to pick any team I'd want the Spurs to face, it would be NO, but I acknowledge that the Hornets have given the Spurs plenty of trouble in the past, and West/Paul have a lot of confidence against them..the Spurs are one of the few teams that Chris Paul gives an effort against..

I like OKC to be honest. Denver is too reliant on the three. OKC will defend their perimeter players well and Perkins and Ibaka will defend Nene. Durant and Westbrook are still better than anyone on Denver.

I really can't talk shit about the Lakers fanbase, consider that I am a Dodger and Raider fan, teams I share with beaner Lakerfan.

If the Raiders ever won another Superbowl, they'd find a way to acquire a nuclear weapon and blow up LA. That's how fuckin' crazy your average Southern California beaner is for the Raiders.

Truth. Make no mistake, they do love the Lakers, but it's not the same kind of deep, passionate, and unconditional love they have for the Raiders and Dodgers. If you told them killing Kobe Bryant would somehow produce a Raider Superbowl or a Dodgers World Series, you'd find his body crucified on the T of the "Staples Center" sign the very next day.

I doubt the Bulls even make it through the East. With the #1 seed they have a chance because the path to the ECF would be a lot easier. If the Bulls should make it to the Finals I think they're very capable of beating any team that comes out of the West. They have the youth, speed, and size in the paint to take on anyone. The only matchup that I'm worried about is against the Celtics. Hopefully that Kendrick Perkins trade weakens them a bit.

I love Chicago's chances to come out of the East if they hold onto the #1 spot. They'd pound Orlando imo and the Celtics are just not the same w/o Perkins. Would be tough, but I'd take Bulls in 7 over Celtics.

I think LA would beat them (HCA or not), b/c the Bulls are limited in their scoring options outside of Rose (the rest are streaky), and experience also plays a factor. Bulls play great D though, so they'd have a good chance either way

Aldridge destroyed LA the last time we played them and that was without Roy, Wallace, and Camby. We just went cold at the end of the game allowed the Lakers to tie it up and take it into OT. We can beat them.

In all honesty though, if the Bulls make a run at the finals they're going to get their asses swept real quick. Even cleaner than that Spurs ass which exited the playoffs in 4 last spring.
