If he takes over from Brown it will be all over...they will be the dominant team, period.

I like the Thompson bros. idea of Nate McMillan coaching Detroit.

Big chief triangle would be something else, but I don't think he would get enough attention in detroit. The only stages big enough for that ego are NY and LA.

I hope you're wrong about this though lol. I forgot where I heard it from I think the radio. But Flip Saunders name could be involved in it too.

Detroit is not glamourous enough for Mr. Jackson.

...Then again I never thought I'd see him in crappy, corny, Toyota commericals. :)

This will cement him as my least favorite coach in sports history. Bitch just takes over teams that are already one of the best, and gets all the, or most of the credit for the team's success.

Phil Jackson already picking up a team with great defense and installing the triangle offense with. That's scary.

The Pistons aren't the right type of team for a triangle offense. They have 4 good scorers on the team (Sheed, Prince, Billups & Rip). He would have to develop some type of square offense or something like that. I hope that Bill Laimbeer becomes the new coach of the Pistons. He is a defensive minded coach who has already showed in the WNBA that he knows what he is talking about.

I wouldn't say Prince is much of a scorer. Billups, Hamilton and Wallace would be the triangle offense.

Phil is coming to the Lake show...sorry guys...he would be scary in Detroit...for sure. If he has some faith in LA and shows he can get them in the playoffs, he will finally be known as the best coaches of all-time....
