it's a good game. it's a cross b/w COD and Battlefield. the controle schemes and control of your character are very similar to COD and the size of the levels and vehicular use are like Battlefield (although not as big). it doesn't do anything new, but it's a very solid game. in terms of graphics, they're a couple years dated, but i care more about depth and entertainment value and both of those are high.

No.. not really sure that it is too easy. I think I have a 1.17 KDR in the game after playing it for 4 or so hours (the other 4 hours spent trying to find a game because their servers were down). You have to be much more careful while you are playing it.. not really a total run and gun game. I pretty much have the same feelings as Mingus.. I enjoy it very much and I'm glad that there is something else to put in the xbox other than black ops.

Eh.. I'll be honest.. I kind of already got bored of this game a bit. Still love the multiplayer.. But I just picked up Crysis 2 and that multiplayer is a bit more what I'm looking for.

Hmmm.. I haven't played it that much to assess it greatly because of school/work/ and letting a guy at work borrow the game for 3 days. But off the bat

Pros

Graphics are amazing
Maps are really awesome
Pretty much a call of duty/ halo hybrid without vehicles

Cons

Takes a entire clip to kill someone.. Can take more if the person is far away.
Very steep learning curve to the online mp
I've had some issues finding games.. although not homefront bad.

Personally I would wait for Battlefield 3 if you can only pick one. I have seen some videos of the socom 4 game and I was not impressed.. actually I'll throw a link up to a guy playing it if you want to take a look.

yea i have the socom beta.. it's alright.. i wish i could play the other games also.. some of my friends are lookin' forward to bfbc3 so i'm kinda leaning that way
