Well. There were more than a few of us who knew that the Spurs would never win a title with Rasho in the middle. That being said, I'm not all that sure that his injury "led to Nazr's success". He was showing good ball before the injury. Just like some of us predicted when the trade happened.

SequShit was wrong. It's very obvious, eg Game5's stat box, that Pop is using Robert much more than Nazr, whose contribution in Game5 was very Rasho-esque, 17 minutes, 2 RBs, 4 pts. With those numbers (and they haven't been much better in the WCF), Nazr and Rasho are inter-changeable, both MARGINAL contrbutors, and Rasho plays better defense. Nazr's individual moves, basketball skills, floor vision, positioning, hustle, defense, eg fundamentals, are all pretty weak, not excuseable due to his newness to Spurs system. The Nazr pony's one trick is that he is better rebounder than Rasho, but that's offset by his weak defense.

Nazr fouls as much, maybe more, than Rasho, so he takes himself out of the game as much as Pop does.

Enough Rasho hating.

The difference between Nazr and Rasho is not enough to keep us from winning series' we're supposed to win. After watching the game last night, Rasho is more than capable of getting in fould trouble and scoring 4 points.

Rasho plugs up the middle on defense and it makes little difference. Rasho is better than people make him out to be(Stephen A. Smith).

Don't get me wrong. I love Rasho too. But new things have come to light to make me believe he will be our bench center next year.

The stats are basically the same in the playoffs so far. To Rasho's credit he hasn't seen that many minutes but he will if we play Detroit.

I would love to see rasho playing, but that is coach decision , so for me is the same, the most important is that Spurs will win FINALS!!!!! :spin

they would have won it last year comprende if it werent for "0.4" and that wasnt rasho's fault. he played his heart off gaurding shaq

The Wolwes should have won the championship last year if Sammy wasn't injured. No matter who would have been the oppenent in WCF or in the Final.

It's great that Spurs fans hate the players on the team that got them back to the finals.

Real Classy. I'm proud to be associated with ya.

Rasho is going to play a big part if we end up playing Miami.

Don't call him driftwood yet.

If Spurs end up facing Miami Rasho will get lots of floor time and could very well be more effective than Nazr playing Shaq so I'd say Sequ is totally wrong.

add that to the long list of excuses. I include .04 as an excuse too.

that's true, but I didn't say that. Nazr/Rasho starts, Robert closes.
