Funny how Shaq was still scared as hell of him and went after Miller even though it was Oakley beating his ass that whole game.

You act like 38yrs old is some kind of senior citizen.

I agree with BB...if it goes to brawl mode Oakley destroys Shaq.

I wonder if Ron Ron had flashbacks of his friend being stabbed with the broken off leg of a table.

Oakley was tough; he wasnt scared of Shaq

Unlike Barkley who threw a ball at the Big Fella and had that " Oops " look on his face

chuck still took SHaq down.

Let's just accept Shaq is not the figher type. He'd be beat down by most of the thugs of the NBA. (which can be counted with one hand)

All these ballplayers think they tough. Let's be honest, they are ballplayers cause they couldn't handle the streets.

Oakley and Miller were doing their impression of Rodman and Laimbeer that night. I really think they were purposely trying to antagonize Shaq with the hard fouls and it worked. It makes me wonder if Shaq could have handled playing the Bad Boy Pistons because they wouldn't have shied away from putting the hammers on him in the paint.

Dwight Howard = Shaq 2.0

Howard doesn't take near the punishment Shaq used to. Shaq took as much physical contact as he dished out. There were times he had 2-3 defenders around him swiping at the ball and getting all arm but since he was so big and could easily power through it the refs rarely called it unless it was too obvious.

Going off memory I thought Shaq held off because he didn't want to do it. Watching it again, he wanted to make sure that first shot really counted.

When Shaq wound up the first time - all he could see was the back of Miller's head. Once Miller turned his head so Shaq could see his face, he was letting it rip. But an angel must have stopped Miller from turning and instead he again turned the back of his head to Shaq.

Yeah, I was simply referring to how much of a bitch Dwight is with the elbow swinging and complaining, being a pussy. (Shaq going after Miller instead of Oakley :lol )

Horry doin' Nash that-a-way.

The aforementioned Bowen.

The dubious acquisition of Duncan.

Nobody, but, nobody wins an NBA Title by doing good.

This. Shaq received way more punishment than Dwight Howard does.

Disagree. Oak is bad man and in a fist fight or boxing match I would take Oak ... but if Shaq ever threw punches and connected with bad intentions both Miller and Oak would of been this generation's Rudy T and Kurt Benson(?)

Shaq is the strongest player I have ever seen (I did not see Wilt play except on DVD)

What would've happened?

Shaq would've nearly killed Miller, BUT he would've been back in a couple of games. You guys have to remember this was the year the 2002 playoffs were fixed, Stern knows Kobe can't lead a team to a ship as the #1 option (3 by Shaq and 2 by Gasol).
