Are Playoff games televised in Europe ? Are they live or do they re-air them later on the day ? I leave for europe on the 15th, a day before the playoffs start. Any advice on how I can catch the games while over there would be much appreciated.

Dude, there's like three links, but I can't post them in the thread or they get removed.

It depends where you go. In the countries where they are televised, it's usually a subscription/ppv channel. In the best case only one game of each night is televised and usually replayed the next day at some more normal time.

But all this varies a lot from country to country.

nba.com will probably be selling a playoff only package for their International League Pass Broadband which this year is working real well.

In some cities you might even find sports bars that stay open overnight and show the games, but that's usually more towards the end of the playoffs.

International League Pass Broadband is by far the best option. I usually share it with 1 or 2 friends so we split the costs.

In France during the PO, ILP will be blacked-out for 6 games a week (usually bulls and spurs games). Those game will be broadcasted on subscription/ppv channel (canal+, sport+ and orangetv).

In some countries NBA games are shown live on tv on free channels. In other countries they are on channels for which you need a special subscribtion.

ILP is a good option and as said above there are always sports bars everywhere where they show NBA.

Other than that, the best option is the internet links, which I cant post here :)

Are you sure of that ?
There was blackout in RS last year but not this year. I hoped the PO also are without blackout this year...

Just during reg season or does this include playoffs?

Moved to France this year and it would really suck if the bulls and spurs games were blacked out.

LOL?

I'm not a Gasol's fan or Fakers's fan but I'll watch Lakers games on Canal+ .No blackout for me.

Anyway you can watch the games in Europe easily.Internet is full of free NBA streams. At least 3 or 4 per game.Surely a few more coming playoff time.

Somehow I kinda feel let down after reading this thread, with absolutely no posts from KBP_Forever naming 400 teenage players in Europe proven to be better than Tiago..
