Searched for a guy where he could another assist, statswhore!

Look at how he wants every ball when the Celtics have a chance at a fastbreak...

It's so unbelievable. That fastbreak, if he actually tried to shoot it, could have been a momentum changer for the Celtics.

Rondo has been looking like overrated garbage since the ASG compared to his statwhoring start. Ten bucks says that he's still battling injuries like plantar fasciitis and a broken heart. Both of which probably won't be healed by the time the season's over :cry

Anyway that was a horrible play but it looked like he lost control of the ball for a little bit. Also he'd probably get blocked or fouled by ex-teammate Tony Allen if he did attempt a shot and we all know Rondo sucks ass at the line :downspin: Also was probably expecting Ray Allen but he fell down earlier. Still a terrible lowlight for Rondo though :nope

If he didn't think he had an easy drive to the hoop, he had a clear "stop in your tracks" 8 foot bank shot. Plus, even if he does get run into, he is in a good position to still make the shot.

He might have lost his dribble a little from the looks of it.

Yea, i don't get it. It wasn't gonna be a jump shot, that i can understand, tbh.

Son, I've been bitching about Rondo for the past month. Doc needs to smack him upside the head.

Rondo's the best 1 in the league, not the best shootiing guard. Can't blame him for that.

Looks like he was to concerned about the two chasing him down that he lost track of his position.

He simply wanted to get an assist, not a FG. He knows what he does best, and that's anything point guard related. It will be interesting to see how he performs when he's one of the only stars on his team, after Pierce, Allen, KG, and Shaq all retire. That's when the real Rondo time to shine begins.

why would he want to shoot? he cant do it. better to rack up the assist with an open allen he always tries the scoop backwards to him

Who cares if he heard footsteps like the commentator says? Rondo can throw dunks down too, and even if he missed it he most likely would have been fouled...
