Advil Gel Caplets. Recurring headaches are often caused by an inflammation. The gel caplets are anti-inflammatory and work a hell of alot better than the regular Advil.

I agree with Darth. Take some Advil Gelcaps for a few days, get good sleep and you should start to feel better.

Get atleast 6-8 hours of sleep a night & invest in a good mattress & pillows if you havent already.

The FIRST thing you need to do is find a basketball forum and post a thread about it ASAP. Those are definitely the guys to talk to when it comes to medical advice imo.

Of course, I trust NBA forum poster's judgment based on the quality and intelligibility of threads here.

Drink enough water? That's usually the culprit for me.

A dark room and a coupla Noragesics (paracetamol + muscle relaxant) and you'll be right as rain.

Seriously though, headaches can mean a ton of different shit, some serious some not. You need to consult your physician if the problem persists.

it could be stress or you not sleeping your regular hours and if you're spending to much time on the comp. do some other activity. Is not a bad idea if you ckeck your blood pressure

Personally, when I fall into these funks I find it easier to cope with if you get a teener or 8ball of blow and 2-3 really good hookers. And after 48 hours if it doesn't work, do it again.

How long has this been going on?
Are you sensitive to light?
You hit your head at all recently?
Is the pain constant or intermittent?

How long has this been going on?1 week now

Are you sensitive to light? I think so, is that already vampirism?

You hit your head at all recently? No, but I have my eyes on the PC at least 8 hours everyday cos I work in an investment firm and all analysis is done on the PC. Add time I spend to laugh at lefty one-liners at home.

Is the pain constant or intermittent?Constant during the period specified as per the title but it goes away anyway.

by vampirism I mean porphyria

I went though that for months. You need to go to the doctor and get blood work done and have your blood pressure checked.

Also, do you drink much caffeine during that time period? Because one day my body just decided it hated caffeine and I started getting headaches from it.

I drink one cup everyday, at the office. Should I already start switching to hot cocoa? I'm planning to go to the doctor this weekend. However, I'm kinda scared what my physician might say but yeah the truth hurts

Don't stress about it man. It's not as if getting headaches means you have a terminal illness or something. The reason you need to go to the doctor is because headaches can be a symptom of such a wide range of things. It's easier for a professional to get to the bottom of it than people on the internet who know nothing about you.

Serious answer here! I get headaches when the weather changes (front moves in..stuff like that)...it is more than likely sinus problems associated with a mild sinus infection or allergies. Try some sinus medication first and some Allegra or Claritin.

Just messing witcha. Drink lots of water. I don't care if you have to take a piss twice every hour. And like a few others have said, get your rest.

Whenever I'm dehydrated and fatigued here comes the headache. I've had a few migraines as well. Hydration and rest is the key.

Now quit being a little beotch. :toast

Sinus headaches generally have these symptoms:

Pressure like pain in one specific area of your face or head (for example, behind your eyes)
Face is tender to the touch
Pain is worse with sudden movements of the head and bending forward
Worse pain in the morning (because mucus has been collecting and draining all night)
Sudden temperature changes, like going out into the cold from a warm room, worsen the pain
Headache often starts when you have a bad cold or just after

As someone who was diagnosed with migraines in my mid-20's, I know how difficult it is to deal with headaches. For being a sports message board, there has been pretty much great advice so far that I wouldn't want to sound redundant. But definitely watch the sodium intake during these times and pay attention to the bp. Hopefully you'll find out a solution.

No, drink tea.

Not that tea bag, American Lipton shit. Infuse some motherfucking tea leaves.

Why is this and how can it be prevented? If not, what's the best medicine? I already got my eyes checked and the optometrist said that I don't need eyeglasses yet.
Is it a sinus problem?
Tylenol Sinus works for me.
