Does Phoenix take Nash out with the game on the line?
Does Chicago take Derrick Rose out of the game with the game on the line?
Did Utah take Deron Williams out of the game with the game on the line?
Did Utah take John Stockton out of the game with the game on the line?
Do you get my point?
None of these fuckers have won shit but Pop pulls Parker (Finals MVP, All Star, possible hall of famer, 3 fucking rings, the best spurs point guard in the history of the franchise) for George Hill. I like George Hill but come on.
I am not going to go to the Bonner/Novak or lack of Splitter case because there is enough of that shit on here, but I don't get it.....
Does this dipshit suffer from dementia?
BTW, Manure is back.
Go Spurs...Get your shit together....

I would also add that Parker is the Spurs MVP this season.
Coach Pop should have to travel in the small yellow bus back to San Antonio for putting Novak in the game.

you dumb fucking midget. Manu is the guy who made all the clutch plays and put the Spurs in position to win. Who made the three that made it a 4 point game? Who led the team in scoring and assists?
All Tony had to do was dribble the ball past half court and they would've had to foul. Fucking idiot.

Shit like this just makes me lose faith.
Even though we have the best record in the league, its just all gonna be wasted one way or another. FML

somewhere in the game blog somebody mentioned tonys disinterested look on his face. and the timeout before novak in bounded the ball, where they rushed tony off the floor to avoid the technical, there was a camera shot of the huddle and you could just see tony on the bench. he had a look on his face like 'wtf, why am i not in the game' and didnt even bother to pay attention to what was going on.

The loss of the Portland game is more on Parker and Ginobili.
The 2 leaders of the team have 3 turnovers apiece in the 4th quarter.
Parker has 8 turnovers for the game. Ginobili has 5 turnovers for the game. That's 13 of the 19 turnovers the Spurs had for the game.
Parker had a 3 assist/8 turnover ratio. Ginobili a 7/5 ratio.
The Spurs had a 4 point lead with 30 seconds to play and the Blazers aren't fouling. Parker keeps the ball in his right hand, dribbling with the hand nearest his defender. All he has to do is run 24 seconds of the 30 seconds off the clock with a 4-point cushion. Parker is looking downcourt instead of protecting the ball. TO and break-away basket.
Ginobili protecting a 2 point lead and dribbles down the shot clock like he's supposed to and then he turns it over with nobody behind him to defend. TO that leads to 2 FTs.
The 2 leaders of this Spurs team blew the game that they worked so hard to win without their captain.

I agree, you finally watched a game.
but......
this is two games in a row the spurs controlled 43 minutes out of 48 and their was a lack of leadership and direction from the coaching staff. Guys need to know that they are going to be in the game at the end..I don't gaf, you don't pull Parker out at all with the game on the line, that was BS.

Oh, and finally, the 2 leaders of the team switched on the last alley-oop play with very little communication. Ginobili leaves Batum to cover Roy. Parker trails the switch and there's a mouse in the house. Game over.

yeah, if we had a coach that could draw up a play also, we wouldn't have been in that position...
uhhhh...game on the line, novak, you throw a lob pass to manu on the fly and manu shoots it...ready break....
WTF was that?
Throw the ball in, jack up a shot and go to overtime and reset....that was pisspoor...
hey, did you get that post in before mysa.com posted the stats? just wondering...
After he handed the ball to Miller, parker deserved to be on the bench for the rest of the game. And the next game. From time to time he'll come out and look like he's got his mind somewhere else. Tonight was one of those nights. When he plays like that he should be on the bench in favor of someone who actually wants to focus on winning.

I'm not defending Pop's pulling of Parker. The fact that 6 men were on the court was partially on Pop and the coaching staff too. They had to pull him when they saw there were 6 out there. It was indeed odd, but the D alignment on the very final play was odd, too.

We've seen Pop's strange science projects before, late in the season, getting ready for the playoffs.

I hate how Gary neal never gets looked at during clutch situations.
Manu seems to choking of late in clutch time. :(
