Yeah, the way you get a player into game shape and integrate him into the rotation is with DNPCD's.

no the way you REHAB and incorporate a player into a brand new system is by keeping him on the bench, working on his fundamentals in practice, drilling him on his knowledge of the system, and sparingly giving him PT in low risk/high reward situations. On top of that, Splitter is not-so-subtly being given a crash course on his role in the Spurs lineup. Pop is a HOF coach dude. It is no surprise that the Spurs purposely look for players who are receptive and able to put aside their egos. Pop has a SYSTEM, and it doesn't make for exceptions. Its his way or the highway. Its why we have four rings, as of late.

too small huh???????? Nah, some of us were never ever worried about lack of size around here.

Pop has ridden tim into the ground. Is pop even a good coach or has he literally ridden td's greatness into the ground????

it's inexcusable for the spurs to not get td some front court help. Irresponsible at the very least.

no, he was genuinely pissed off at the ref for not calling a foul on Manu when he was NFL tackled and then giving Memphis an and-1 on the other end when they took advantage of the 5 on 4 like a pussy on a sissy ass ticky tack foul.

Grizzlies = Pussies
Refs = Fucking dirty cunts

Thanks for the answer. :toast

Damn refs.

The first fuckin' decision coach Bud made...was to insert Matt FUCKIN' BONNER!!!!!
:bang:bang:bang

Does not bode well for the 2nd half.

Hill will not continue this so someone else has to step up, but Hill did show up and hopefully he gets greedy and wants more.

I almost think it is better for Memphis to win...so they can keep moving up to the 7th seed so they have to play the lakers...

let the lakers have the privilege of a physical 7 game series with bodies going down left and right.

Manu felt the contact and then flailed. It was on the flail/flop where he banged knees.

Spurs lucky to be down only 5 points. It give me hope for the second half, considering the foul trouble for the Spurs big men and Manu and Tony's poor play in the first half.

Great half from Hill to keep the Spurs in the game. Now if TP and Manu can take the reigns in the second half the Spurs have a great chance to win this.

BTW, I don't expect Hill to play this well every game, let alone each half. But if he could bring this level of aggressiveness and looking to drive it to the paint it would be a HUGE improvement out of the neutered Hill we've seen for the past few weeks.

Does anybody wonder if the switch of Blair and Dice in the starting lineup, seems to have thrown the team off a little? Not that it wasn't a sound strategy (we had to get bigger) but it seems like we lose Dice's D in the second unit has hurt us. Couple that with Bonner's collapse and Hill's slump and the loss of Tim and suddenly BOTH our starting unit and bench are weaker.

That said I always regarded Tony and Manu as future Hall of Famers. If that's true, and they just aren't TD's career sidekicks, its time for them to step up and lead us to some victories without Timmy.

Ugh. They've got to find some energy, keep it close, and give themselves a chance to win it.

228, I have said it for a while. The guys are trying, but they look devoid of energy. I know it's cliche, but they are out of gas and it's what a lot of people feared.
