tbh, his health scares the hell out of me. I think that having a stress reaction AND a stress fracture in the same season can only be described as fragile.

Agree that health issues will tilt teams towards passing on this kid, but it's noteworthy that despite the spinal and tibia shit, he still mended quickly enough to contribute to UCLA at all, much less average 13 and 9 with 2 blocks 2 steals!

Not a Bruins fan, so I haven't watched the kid play, but his numbers make me wonder if he's simply injury-prone, or rather, recklessly contact-prone. Any thoughts from people who know his game better?

Honeycutt will hire an agent which mean that he will stay in the draft.

He will be off the board by the time the Spurs will be on the clock.

I think this guy will be on the board when the Spurs pick due to his small frame and past injuries. But, the Spurs should pass on him. We need a wing who can create his own shot. This guy shot 41% last year. Yuck.

I think he doesn't drive because he CAN"T. Terrible ball handler on the dribble. See video on DEx.

On the other hand, that's a skill that could be taught. At draft #29, he IS a long SF and there isn't much to lose at that draft pick.

he is softer then dick jefferson pass.... afraid to drive similar to jefferson
If he doesn't have a wide open layup, dunk, or shot then he isn't going to score.....Now that sounds very similar to RJ.

I don't know about this guy but the Spurs do NOT need a SF who can drive. They already have guys who can attack the basket in TP and MG. The Spurs need a SF w/ some length and defensive ability like Bruce Bowen who can knock down 3s. If this guy can do it, then I have no problem w/ him being picked. If not, then pass.

The Bucks' workout was Honeycutt's third in three days. His whirlwind tour started Tuesday in San Antonio. He then auditioned for Indiana on Wednesday before heading to Milwaukee. He will now work out for New York today.

The DX video part regarding his ball handling is hilarious. He's terrible with the ball in his hands.
