God the Blazers suck, can't even keep a lead against the Spurs backups. Green and Hill owning them. It's actually impressive that the Spurs are still in this game... if it was the Mavs without Dirk, Chandler and Marion they would be down 20 by now. Oh and George Hill>>>>>Roddy Beaubois.

San Antonio plays Boston next game. It's a win win for us. I think Boston takes it. They're in a rut just as bad as SA, but at least they still got their pieces intact.

Also Houston fighting for their playoff lives. I could see this streak extending to 6 easily. If that's the case. All Lakers need to do is nut on their chin when they come rolling into staples on the 12th.

WTF. Are the Spurs trying to give us home court. It was a pipe dream, but now the Spurs have gone to full choke mode. There is 3.5 games difference now and we have a game at home vs. Spurs left.

This would be historical choking. Almost makes you suspicious with the Spurs history of tanking and all.

lol @ calling choking with none of the big 3 playing...

We've had some injuries at a bad time... happens. I still think we have a good enough lead to keep it...

None of big 3 playing. You just made my point; Should a couple of the big 3 not nut up and play to stop the losing streak?

What for? To aggravate an injury with the playoffs around the corner?

We still control our destiny here, and still have a sizeable lead.

I'm not laughing at the Spurs. They were so dominant in the regular season that even a 4 game losing streak has them 3.5 games ahead of everyone else. Besides, Lakers could just as easily be in the same position.

As far as Boston/SA goes, I'm rooting for Boston. We already have the tiebreaker against the Celtics clinched, so we have an extra game on them.

You lose 2 more games before the Lakers game and the Spurs would conclude a historical collapse. Just how far do you think your current momentum will take you in the playoffs?

I guess they just don't have the intestinal fortitude it takes. Unlike Kobe who plays through the pain and does anything it takes to win and the Lakers are doing plenty of winning.

How many games we lose from here on out doesn't matter as much as getting everyone healthy and in game shape. We won 57 games already... This loss streak all have been without at least one of the big 3 on the court.
If you want to look at collapse with a full roster, look at the Celtics...

Yeah, the intestinal fortitude not to take shots on a closing game 7, throw a teammate under the bus or ask to be traded... :lol

It's easy to have intestinal fortitude when you have a stacked team around you. Not to mention he can't play a game without giving some excuse about some supposed injury. :lol

Yeah, great example.
