lol @ "what a heroic basket"
because it takes a hero to ignore his teammates and throw up an awkward shot while being double teamed. good thing he made it.

Jobe to Shaq alley oop versus Portland started the Lakers run.
Brian Shaw's three-pointer to end the third quarter was the big shot in that game IMO. They were down 18-19 at the time and completely dead in the water. That shot gave them a spark.
Portland was already flat-lining by the time Shaq hammered down that alley-oop. That was just the coup de grace.
Almost infuriating watching Portland in the 2000 WCF. They simply found a way to lose that series.

Guy left to him was wide open, but he took it against 2 defenders, and then people wonder why some people donīt like him?

Endgame, nigga: the shot went in, the Lakers won. I'm sorry if that's hard to accept.

Huge shot by B-Shaw...it was a 16 point deficit near the end of the 3rd, and Shaw banked in a 3-pointer right at the end of the quarter. Much needed indeed.

That was a banged up Suns team. Gugs was out with a horrible knee injury and Kidd and Penny both played with injuries.

The Lakers shot 37 free throws that game. We shot 16. The league was not going to allow us to win that game. It's amazing that we almost pulled it off.

:lol Right lets just look at the free throws. Let's not look at the fact that the Blazers clearly CHOKED down the stretch. They missed what? 15 shots in a row? Refs rig that too?

If the game had been officiated cleanly we win easily.

Do you have video evidence that indicates favoritism? Seriously, when you miss 15 fucking shots in a row, in one of the most monumental choke jobs in NBA history, you deserve to lose tbh. Tough luck.

There would not have even been an opportunity for the Blazers to choke had the officiating been clean.

Whether it's boxing or in basketball, it's the same thing: when you're up against the champ (and the Lake Show weren't the defending champs, but they were still the Lake Show) you have to get the knockout, because you probably won't get the decision.
It may not be fair, but that's the way it is.
